Jesus Christ is the same Today as He was Yesterday, and Forever.  As the Word of God, the logos of the Eternal God – He is and was and is to come.  He was in the beginning with God.  He came to live a sinless life in a human body as He tabernacled among us.  He died on a bloody cross to pay for our sins.  He rose from the dead and ascended back to the right hand of the Father.  He reigns as Lord.

If He is not reigning as Lord in your life, ask yourself a question.  Are you ready to stand before Him at any given point in the next 24 hour period and desire entrance to heaven?  If not, then consider the conclusion I made years ago.  No matter what other accomplishments or failures in this life, the most important aspect to life on earth is preparing for eternity.
